Welcome
Centre of Excellence
Welcome to the Oxford United Boys & Girls Centre of Excellence home page.
The Boys Centre is part of a 36-week Football League programme and the Girls is a 36-week FA programme which sees our Under 9s - Under 16s train twice a week at either Tilsley Park Abingdon, Oxford Hawks Hockey and Tennis Club Oxford, Blackbird Leys Sports Centre, and Oxford Brookes University. Games are played on Saturday and Sunday mornings home or away against teams such as Brentford, Bristol Rovers, Swansea City, Bournemouth, & Wycombe Wanderers (Boys) and Chelsea, Fulham, Charlton, Brighton, Millwall, Gillingham, Reading and Hampshire (Girls)
The Centre of Excellence develops teams at Under 9 - Under 16 as well as our Under 18's Youth Team. The Centre of Excellence also works very closely with the Oxford United Football & Education Academy providing opportunities for the boys to progress if they are not offered scholarships and Girls to play at first team level.
The Centre draws on the skills and experience of a variety of people from Oxford United including the coaching, medical, welfare and administrative staff.
